A tree doesn't panic in the drought. It doesn't scramble when the heat comes. It stands because of what nobody sees — the roots. That's the assignment. Go deep. Stay planted. Bear fruit in every season.

CNBC / Bloomberg · June 12, 2026 — This week, SpaceX went public on the Nasdaq at $150 a share and made history. Elon Musk is now worth over $1 trillion — the first human being to ever hold that number. His Tesla stake added $280 billion. His SpaceX stake added $766 billion. The man is now worth more than the next five richest people on earth combined. Here's the part that hit me: most of that wealth was built in the invisible years. SpaceX launched its first successful rocket in 2008 after nearly going bankrupt three times. The trillion didn't come from a viral moment. It came from roots nobody was watching him grow.

NBA.com / ESPN · June 14, 2026 — Jalen Brunson scored 45 points in Game 5 as the Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs to win their first title since 1973. 53 years of waiting. And in Game 4 they came back from 29 points down in the Finals — the largest comeback in NBA Finals history — to close it out. Brunson is 6 foot 2 in a league that told him he was too small. He just won Finals MVP. The Knicks were written off for decades. The invisible work they put in when nobody believed finally paid off on the biggest stage. Rooted.
