One Blueprint. Every Monday

Issue #12 06/08/2026

What's good?

Are you tired of being in the wilderness?

I am.

I see the new season approaching — I can feel it — but what I've realized is my old mindset won't be able to go into this next one. New routines, new habits, new thoughts are required.

If I'm keeping it real, I've been in my wilderness for yearsss. Comfortable. Content. Ready to ride it out. Loving on my wife. Loving on my family. And if I'm being totally honest? Part of me was at peace with that.

But there's always been a but.

What I know — God is going to make it all worth it. He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. That's not a motivational quote. That's a promise.

The wilderness isn't punishment. For some of us it's preparation. The question is — are you going to come out of it the same man who went in? Or are you going to let the wilderness work on you the way it was designed to?

New season. New mindset. Let's go.

"Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

Philippians 1:6

This Week’s WORD.

This week, I'm pointing you to a sermon that met me exactly where I am. If you're in the wilderness — tired, patient, and pressing — this one is for you. Don't save it. Press play today.

What’s Good Out There

Men's Health Month 2026 — "Partners in Care: For Better Lifespans Across the Lifespan."

Sutter Health · June 2026 — The 2026 theme is "Partners in Care" — highlighting the role that families, communities, and care partners play in supporting healthier outcomes for men. 63% of men of color report not getting regular health screenings. That stat should stop every man reading this. June is the month to change it. Get the checkup. Know your numbers. You cannot lead what you cannot sustain.

Black Men and Prostate Cancer — The Numbers Every Man Needs to Know

Men's Health Month · June 2026 — Non-Hispanic Black men are 65% more likely to have prostate cancer than non-Hispanic white men, and twice as likely to die from it. The gap isn't about biology alone — it's about access, awareness, and the cultural habit of toughing it out until it's too late. This is your reminder: early detection saves lives. Talk to your doctor. Talk to your brothers.

Keep the Signal Clear

I’m big on tools that reduce noise.

I use the WIN Notebook to get what’s in my head onto paper — goals, lessons, patterns. Writing slows you down just enough to tell the truth to yourself

The wilderness is not the end of your story. It never was.

He started the work. He'll finish it. Your job is to keep moving.

You're not done yet.
