What’s good, bro?.. This is the mid-week check-in…It’s a quick one….
Monday, I talked about my weekend with the family, the good food, and the fun family time at karaoke. But there was one moment that I keep coming back to.
Watching my nephew on that soccer field.
He wasn't the loudest kid out there. He wasn't calling for the ball or trying to be the hero. He was just working. Playing goalie and midfield, tracking back on defense when his team lost the ball. Setting up his teammates with the opportunity to score. Leading with his effort before his words.
I thought about how many of us, grown men, are still waiting for the title, the platform, or the recognition before we start leading. And here's this kid doing it in cleats on a Saturday morning.
Leadership isn't a position. It's a posture.
You lead by how you show up in the quiet moments, in the thankless moments, in the moments when nobody's watching except the people who matter most.
This midweek's action: Do one thing that reflects the leader you want to be — not the one you're waiting to become.
For me, this looks like showing up in this week’s staff meeting as the team lead/supervisor, even though I am not…yet.
You're not done yet.

Before Friday….
Reach out to one person you've been meaning to reconnect with. Text, call, voice note — doesn't matter. Just make contact. You know who it is.
That person has been on your mind for a reason. Don't let this week pass without acting on it.

We need to laugh, too
*No joke or meme this week, but this section is coming next.
Let’s laugh together..
Keep the Signal Clear
I’m big on tools that reduce noise.
I use the WIN Notebook to get what’s in my head onto paper — goals, lessons, patterns. Writing slows you down just enough to tell the truth to yourself
Stay locked in for the week.
We’re not done yet.

P.S. — Still getting replies to Monday's question of the week: What's your hair routine as a man? If you haven't replied yet — hit reply. Some of these answers are, and I'm saving them for a future issue.
